Chocolate Fondue
I mean, who doesn’t love dipping all the things in CHOCOLATE?! Chocolate fondue with all your favorite dippers! You’re going to want to swim in it!
And the best part is that this recipe is so easy! It is done in two steps. No fuss and so simple!
New Year’s Eve is one of my least favorite holidays. I don’t like everyone stressing about New Year’s resolutions they will break and feel shame about just one week in, I don’t like choosing a word or finding a new hobby and I certainly do not like staying up until midnight and trying to entertain the whole family.
I’m a New Year’s Eve Grinch.
Maybe it would be easier if our kids were closer in age but what do you do to entertain a 15 year old, 11 year old and 5 year old? The struggle is real.
There isn’t anything wrong with any of the things listed above, but over the years I’ve found that in my life I need to do things a little differently. I like having an open heart and mind that is always asking, what areas could I stand a little taller or be a little softer in? One month I might feel the need to speak more gently to my kids and another month I might feel the need to be more prompt in showing up to things, and I love that.
I have the flexibility to become vs the pressure to be better. Just works for me. Moved in the moment, acting every moment after.
But traditions are different. I looooove traditions and since you all recommend we start into the whole fondue thing I jumped in with both feet.
It’s been totally worth it. Cheese fondue, yes please! Chocolate fondue? Duh!

Variations on Plain Chocolate Fondue
If you want to get really wild, change up the extract that you put in the chocolate. We have always done vanilla, but you could try orange, peppermint, or coconut. Those all sound so yummy! I think I’m going to try coconut next!
